    Veronica began working for Bon Appétit as a cashier nearly 17 years ago; she is now a café manager. Throughout the years Veronica has acquired the skills necessary to practice in a restaurant setting – Bon Appétit has enabled her to grow and pursue a career that she loves in the culinary business. Veronica is always pleased to serve her valued customers and provide guidance for her many employees.

    Chef Michael has uniquely molded himself as an all around chef that can work in any kitchen, restaurant, hotel or within catering. Prior to joining Bon Appetit, Chef Michael apprenticed and worked at notable restaurants and golf clubs such as Aqua, Linkcoln Park Golf Course, and Blupointe Raw Bar. Since joining the Yahoo! team in 2015, Chef Michael has enjoyed using only the best local ingredients that California can offer. He loves bringing freshness and quality to your plate!

    Catering Manager

    Tina had her early start in the food service industry over 12 years ago. Her passion for great food and outstanding service has led her to Bon Appetit, where has been working for 3 years before taking on the role of Catering Manager at Yahoo. Her creativity and attention to detail can be seen throughout events held on campus, from weekly FYI meetings to Yahoo’s Year End Party.

    Café Manager

    Shawn has been with Bon Appétit for more 12 years, working his way up the ranks from grill cook to café chef. Prior to joining Bon Appétit, he worked in various restaurants from Gilroy to San Francisco. Having grown up on a small farm in the south county of the Bay Area, his interest in farm-to-fork cuisine developed naturally. After spending his first 11 years in the kitchen, Shawn is transitioning to Café Manager, where he is taking on a new role outside of the culinary operation.

    Cafe Manager

    A fifteen year veteran of the food service industry, Samantha brings with her extensive food service management experience and excellent customer service skills. Her industry knowledge and experience range from casual full service restaurants to fine dining management.
    Samantha is extremely passionate about great food, great people, personal and employee safety, customer service, and training. Samantha is a Bay Area native, and currently lives with her husband and two beautiful boys in San Jose.

  • Michael O’Neil
    Resident District Manager

    A longtime food service professional, General Manager Michael O’Neil is passionate about the entire culinary experience. His culinary expertise ranges from casual upscale dining to four-star cuisine – a background he draws on in his new role at Yahoo. Previously employed as a chef, Michael worked in the kitchens of a number of top restaurants on both the East Coast and West Coasts before joining Bon Appétit’s parent company, Compass Group, in 1998.

    Since then, he’s operated large-volume accounts and helped to design and implement such wide-ranging initiatives as employee safety and training programs, the planning and construction of new cafés, and comprehensive menu programs for diverse guest populations.
